Use the search above to find the ancestor you are looking for.  On each ancestor's individual page, we can add pictures, histories, a biographical sketch, and timeline events.  We hope to understand not merely the Pratt family history (the names and dates of our ancestors), but the Pratt family "in" history. To help us understand and appreciate our heritage, we need to see our Pratt ancestors as real people, with struggles and triumphs of their own. In order to make this a reality, each child and grandchild of Jared Pratt has their own page, serving as a repository of information, photos and histories. These histories include discourses, letters, journals, newspaper articles, etc. by or about the Pratt brothers and their posterity! If you have pictures, histories, timeline events of a biographical sketch you would like to add about any of the people on the website (e.g. your grandparents, great-grandparents, etc.), please contact us and let us know!  We can give you permission to easily add these things by yourself. 

Descendancy project

In a continuing effort to identify descendants of Jared and Charity Pratt, the family organization would appreciate your help. Paul Debry, Vice President for Descendancy Research, is heading up this effort. Please help us by:

1. Tracing descendants of Jared and Charity Pratt that have not yet been identified.

If you have not previously submitted the records of your immediate family and/or your branch of the family to the Jared Pratt Family Association, you can send them by either e-mail or disk to Paul.

If you only have paper genealogy sheets, copy and mail them to Paul.

If you are unsure whether the family association has records for your branch of the family, please contact us.

2. If you have time to help trace other “lost” or “dead-end” lines, we would appreciate your help in doing this genealogy research. E-mail if you would be willing to help.
